About The Event

Day 1

• Arrival at the airport

• Transfer to the hotel.

• Master-class of making traditional Georgian Khinkali in the restaurant  located in Old Tbilisi.

• After that dinner. Night in Tbilisi.

Day 2

City tour around Tbilisi

• The tour starts with the meeting guide in Hotel.

• After this guide will take you to the cable car, which will take you to Narikala Fortress – the symbol of Tbilisi ‘’Kartlis Deda’’(Mother of Kartli ), who meets guests with wine and enemies with sword.

• Visit to the beautiful waterfall located in the Botanical Garden.

• Trip to the historical district of Metekhi, where you will visit the Church located on the picturesque hill.

• Lunch 

• At 17.00 City tour by special bus with wine tasting on board. You will get acquainted with Georgian wines and a city with original architecture, with ancient history and culture, with the life of modern and old multinational Tbilisi.During the tour customers will be tasting 6 types of Georgian wine. Information-realization space of Georgian wine "VINERIA" will be last stop where you can learn more about Georgian wine and the methods of its production. Here you will taste one of the varieties of wine with Georgian cheese and sweets.

• Stroll around Leselidze and Shardeni streets. The latter was named after the famous French traveler Jean Chardin. Here you will find souvenir boutiques and nice, cozy cafes for having a cup of coffee.

Day 3

Mtskheta- Chateau Mukhrani

• The tour starts with the meeting guide in Hotel.

• Trip to Mtskheta – a beautifully renovated town belonging to the 2nd half of the I millennium BC, the first capital of Georgia.

• The excursion to the Svetitskhoveli Temple – the cathedral of the XI century, the main cathedral of Georgia and UNESCO Heritage object.

• Then you will go up the mountain to the monastery of Jvari. This area offers a breathtaking view of the confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers.

• Excursion to the wine company Chateau Mukhrani which is one of the must-visit venues for getting a fascinating insight into the traditions and secrets of Georgian wine-making. You will have a tour around the fabulous castle and cellars, amazing gardens and vineyards.

• Dinner in Chateau Mukhrani.

• Return to Tbilisi

Day 4

 Exploring Kakheti wine region

• The tour starts with the meeting guide in Hotel.

• Departure to Kakheti –region famous for the producing of excellent Georgian wines. Here the wine is produced by special technology.

• Visiting  winery with picturesque views and tasty food and drinks. You can have lunch here. Also you will have master class of making traditional Georgia Wine.

• Visit to Alaverdi Monastery located at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains, it was founded by the Assyrian monk Joseph Alaverdeli in the VI. The monks here prepare wine by millenary traditions and keep it in the unique wine cellar of the XI century.

• A trip to the village of Kvareli and visit to the hotel-winery. Here you will have a tour around the factory, degustation of local wines, as well as a master class on Georgian food.

• Dinner.

Day 5

Exploring Kakheti wine region

• The tour starts with the meeting guide in Hotel.

• Tour around Telavi – the center of Kakheti region. Telavi is well-known for its delightful landscapes.

• A trip to the village of Tsinandali known for its white dry wine Tsinandali.

• Excursion to the Tsinandali estate founded in the XIX century by Alexander Chavchavadze – the famous poet and public figure of Georgia. The estate is known of its amazing labyrinth planted with exotic trees and for the cellars, where the unique collection of Georgian and European wine is preserved. Here you will have the chance to taste 5 types of wine among which Tsinandali – white dry specific for this village.

• After you will visit wine cellar, which took participance on The 100th China Food & Drinks Fair this year. Here you will have lunch.

• The tour continues to the beautifully renovated town of Sighnaghi – “the town of love”. It is famous for its architecture in the style of southern Italian classicism.

• Return to Tbilisi

Day 6

• Transfer to the airport, departure.
